Salbakuta: Bendeatha — A Night of OPM Rap, Music, and Giving Back in London!
Celebrating Filipino Hip-Hop, Community, and the Power of Music 🇵🇭🎤
On August 15, 2026, Filipino music fans in London came together for Salbakuta’s Bendeatha charity concert, an event that celebrated the energy of OPM rap while supporting a meaningful cause. Bringing together music and community spirit, the concert offered an opportunity for Filipinos in the United Kingdom to enjoy live entertainment while contributing to a cause that matters.
A Night of Filipino Hip-Hop and Unforgettable Memories
Known for their place in the Filipino rap scene, Salbakuta brought their music to London for an evening dedicated to Filipino hip-hop and the enduring appeal of OPM. The concert gave fans an opportunity to reconnect with a familiar sound, celebrate Filipino musical talent, and share the excitement of a live performance with fellow music lovers.
For many attendees, events like these are about more than the music alone. They are opportunities to gather with friends, meet fellow members of the Filipino community, and enjoy an atmosphere where shared musical memories bring people together.
From the anticipation of seeing the performers live to the collective excitement of being part of a concert audience, the evening reflected the special connection between artists and fans. It was a celebration of Filipino music in a city far from home, reminding everyone that the spirit of OPM continues to travel across borders.
Music with a Meaningful Purpose
One of the defining aspects of the Bendeatha concert was its charitable purpose: supporting Kanlungan Migrant Centre.
By bringing music and charitable support together, the event highlighted how live entertainment can serve a purpose beyond the stage. Concerts can create opportunities for communities to unite, raise awareness, and support organisations working to make a difference in people's lives.
The event demonstrated how Filipino artists, organisers, and music fans can come together around a shared goal. Through the combination of live performances and community support, Bendeatha represented a meaningful celebration of both Filipino musical culture and the spirit of giving back.
Salbakuta’s Bendeatha was more than a night of OPM rap — it was a celebration of Filipino music and the spirit of giving back.
